Blogocentric Formulations [18+] My primary Writing.com blog. |
This is an "I Write in 2024" review! Hello, Jeff! Thank you for supporting this great activity! Overall Impression: I, too, know the feeling of the Spotify wrap-up reminding you that you have thousands of songs to choose from, but you really only listen to 20 of them. And of those 20, at least 5 barely made the cut. Title and Description: I like how you tied your final song choice to the final entry. It was a nice touch. "My primary writing.com blog" doesn't really tell us very much. I'm actually surprised you don't have a dedicated "The Soundtrack of Your Life" blog to keep tabs on how your interests change from year to year. You know, if you're into that sort of data tracking thing. Content and Flow: This was a nice, straightforward entry, and I'm sure TSwift will be thrilled to make another red carpet appearance in your blog. What interested me more than the amount of times you've listened to her songs (and I'm very jealous you got to see the concert), is that you said you left out all the contemporary Christian music this year. How come? If it's the stuff you listened to the most often, it certainly deserves a spot in the blog. Have you considered doing an entire set of those songs (maybe not for SOYL, but another Soundtrackers activity?). I know it's always hard to narrow down entries to only a handful of music, but maybe it's something to consider. Grammar and Mechanics: I found no problems. Final Thoughts: Congratulations on finishing Soundtrackers and creating some consistent writing habits. It's great to see you getting back into the swing of things. Thank you for sharing your work with us! JayNaNoOhNo My approach to reviews: "I'll Explain, but not Disclaim"
