Greetings, MJones . I'm Jace, and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Photographic Memory" for the "~ The Poet's Place Cafe~" group. Form. I don't know if this poem aligns witha specific form but it consists of five two-line stanzas each with a a-a rhyme. The poem uses a photograph for a prompt Overall Impression. First, I thought the photograph was a powerful image, worthy of a thoughtful poem. Your poem is a testament to this image and to all who read it. You are right--that rusted vehicle IS the focal point for both your image and the poem. Technical or Editorial Considerations. I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your poem. I had a problem with reading your first line.
