What a moving story, and how beautifully told! I'm literally struggling to review this powerful poem.

I like the brief description, genres and cover photo. What confused me a bit was the title. I know you mean it to be metaphorical and not literal, but there seems to be no sort of reference to music in the poem. Am I missing something? (I was thinking of a pun Mew-sic, but I think it is too frivolous for this poem.)

I like the centered layout and the bold type and font you've chosen. The rhyme and verse work effectively to tell your tale and evoke all the images and emotions. I could picture each scene as it happened and feel the sudden shock when the illness hit, the dilemma, and the sorrow afterward. This is indeed a very moving and poignant tribute to a fur-member of your family. I'm sure anyone in your situation would relate and find solace that they aren't alone in their feelings.

I also applaud your kindness in taking in an animal that needed you, when you already had a pet of your own and had to make adjustments. You received all the love you gave manifold as a reward!

Thanks for sharing this! *Cat2*
