I missed reading the description originally so I didn't know this was inspired by Exodus until after the first read through. However I immediately thought of the Ten Commandments when I was reading this so you successfully captured its essence. There is definitely a strong religious connection that comes across with the mention of a covenant, flood and commandments. This poem had some great imagery in it. I loved the description of the mountains and were able to visualize them clearly. The sounds described such as Rumbles and Echo go appropriately with the title of this. Powerful poetry and nice writing!
