If this is a parody of a song, perhaps you should reference the song it is parodying in a dropnote. You might also put in a reference to the prompt, or a link to the contest or both. I like the theme of this poem and it really seems to stick to it. I do think I would enjoy it more if I recognized the tune it should be sung to.
