  Greetings, Solace.Bring, I am reviewing this today as one of two judges for the "Writing 4 Kids-CLOSED till Spring" . Please do not edit your limerick until after the winners are announced! Thank you!   First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. Visually appealing Loved the alternating colors. Easy to understand Very clear. First Impression This is a story about friendship between two unlikely friends. I love that! I also like the alternating colors, especially in your title because it represents fur and feather are different...and you continue to prove that two dissimilar beings can find a way to get along and become buddies.  Great message. Meter: The required meter for this round, is 8/8/5/5/8.  Your meter is:8/8/6/6/9 8/9/6/6/9 8/8/6/6/9 8/9/5/6/9 8/8/6/6/8 It's still a great story though!  Rhyme: Awesome rhyming. Flow: Mostly good!  Technicalities: I found no typos. Great punctuation. The biggest issue is the meter doesn't match the required guideline. Favorites:The kitten and duck were good friends, (but that’s not where this story ends) through all sorts of weather by fur and by feather. Just think of the message that sends!
