Hello ♥HOOves♥ Author IconMail Icon ,

Once again I was thrilled to see that you were the poster before me in "I Write in 2019" and I just knew I was going to love your poem and I did!

Your sweet memory poem felt like a warm hug and made me want to visit Ireland and acquire my own Irish sweater. Not that I have an aunt Catherine there but I do have an ancestor named Catherine whose parents are from Ireland. It's small world!

I enjoyed reading your poetic contribution to the "Writer's Cramp" Contest. I enjoyed reading every line of your poem. It was a wintry delight.

Your poem is well done, flows nicely and evoked positive feelings in me as I read it.

My favorite line was: "and I hold on to that sweater and everything my aunt gave me" because it made my heart melt and I could relate to the same feeling of something of my dear departed mother's.

I liked how you structured your poem.

I didn't notice any mistakes of any kind in your poem.

Your poem is so well written that I have no suggestions for improvement.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem with the writing.com community!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!

Merriest Christmas and happiest New Year wishes to you, Mr. Hooves and Boo! (And I love that you included Boo in your poem *Heart*)
