Hi mike1754! I'm stopping by your port today to read and review your item, "Please Sylvia." Hope you are enjoying the birthday celebrations! I'm really inspired by people who can write flash fiction this short. It really emphasizes just how important every word is, and you do a fantastic job at it! Your story is suspenseful, thrilling, mysterious, and a dark as well. Good going! I was left with a few questions though. Your story was great, but I wanted to know more of the reasons why it was written. You say in the description that it was written for a contest and needed to be exactly 42 words. I was left wondering what contest that was and if you placed in said contest? Perhaps, you could consider adding a note within the piece about what contest this was entered in as well as the prompt of the contest or the required word count and then use the description field to add a nice hook to get people to click into your item to review it. What I would do is increase the font size of your story, and then add some divider underneath, like <><><> or something similar, and add the contest link and details below that, perhaps in a smaller font size or different color than the rest of the piece. Thank you for sharing your story! Keep writing! Take care, Emily "WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group" E: Join the fun! We inspire reviewers through kindness and learning! Winner of eight Quills!
