Very interesting poem you've written here. I enjoyed your rhyming very much and found the poem easy to read. My favorite line was, "No one can realize our brilliantly-colored never;" because it was unusual, but so perfect in its peculiarity. It made me think, and that for me is the best part about reading poetry. Your emotions in this poem are heartfelt and powerful.

I was left with a question though: Who is/was Billy? And maybe for the reader, this doesn't even matter, because the sentiment is the same regardless, though I was still curious.

I also loved all the farming references you included in this poem. I don't know if that was intentional, but it leaves me with a sense of burying the old and starting fresh. A sense of rebirth even. Good themes for a poem like this.
