This, my friend, is really good! I love the way your mind works, and to come up with something like this took me into a whole new world! It's so 'surreal'! Seriously! I love this idea of Mr. and Mrs. Blue waking up each morning and seeing these events unfold day after day, regardless of how mundane or beautiful they are. They know they're going to happen, and they love it. But it was that part about the 'bombs raining over far-removed cities' that really caught my eye. It's like these two are sitting outside of this world and looking in on it, like children staring at the contents inside of a snow globe. They can shake it all they want, but each time they do they know what's going to happen, and they'll just sit there and smile at it. Which is a little spooky when you think about it...reminds me of something in a Twilight Zone episode! And then to bring it full circle with the sleeping white tiger and the bell in its mouth was perfect! The bombs didn't fall (beautiful!), and all was right with the world. That's how I understood it, anyway. 'bubblegummed pavement'? 'peacock-feather hair'? I don't know how you came up with those adjectives, but they're cool! Kee ponw ritin gon, Cappucine! I love the way you wrote this, and have a marvelous day! PS-You now have a new fan!
