I noticed you were picked as a WdC Angel Army Port Raid Author this month, so congratulations! Expect another review from me soon!
I thought this was great, and it says a lot about what goes on around the dining room table during Thanksgiving! You never know when a family member is going to say the wrong thing (usually 'Uncle Bob' after one too many beers *Laugh*), and then the entire meal turns into one big food fight. OK, maybe not a food fight; that might be too easy. How about just a complete riot?
I'm no expert on poetry, but I thought the rhyming scheme was good (maybe just a bit bumpy in a place or two, but that doesn't take away from the subject matter, which is what makes this piece stand out).
I also like those footnotes you added at the end. Or are those 'disclaimers'? *Laugh*
OK. I do have one question: what man in their right mind would marry 9 women, and then invite them all to dinner at the same time? To quote Mr. T: 'I seriously pity this poor fool!' *Rolling*
