Greetings, Windsor! This isn't bad for your first piece on here, and sadly, I can really relate to it. What I liked most about this is that it's so relevant these days; the number of homeless people in this country is growing, and what hurts is that more and more people are turning their heads and showing a blind eye to these people. I should know; I've been there and done that, on more than one occasion. But what people don't understand is that it can very easily happen to them! Many of these unfortunate folks lost their jobs and everything else they had due to no fault of their own, and society just let them fall through the cracks! And like I said, I've been on both sides of the fence, so I know how they feel. Not trying to be religious, but until the more fortunate people have walked a mile in their shoes, they shouldn't be casting stones or passing judgement! As for the technical part about this, it is a little bumpy in a few places as far as the rhyming scheme, but it's the subject matter of this that really counts! Kee ponw ritin gon, Windsor, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write, then you're going to love it here!
