Title: Robby

First Impression: The first stanza hooked me with the speaker finding a robot in the stock room of the library.

What needs your attention: I encountered no distractions or anything else that needs your attention. I found this poem easy t o read because of the font size.

What part I liked best: The last stanza is my favorite because it climaxes the poem's plot with Robby reading. I also like the rhyme on heed and read.

Overall impression: This poem is written in quatrains rhyming aabb. The rhythm is musical and moves the poem's plot forward at a good pace while building the suspense. The rhythm flows easily from stanza to stanza and makes this poem easy to read aloud. I enjoyed reading this thought provoking children's poem. This is a poem that parents can read to a small child as a bedtime story without losing the child's attention. It it also easy for old children to read themselves or to young siblings. The first person point of view is a good child for a children's poem. I am giving this well-planned and written children's poem a 5.0. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. Write on.
