A review for "The Iron Bank of Braavos"

Title: You Did What??

First Impression: The first paragraph hooked me with Steve Jackson’s blood pressure being close to stroke level.

What needs your attention: I found no technical problems or anything else that needs your attention.

What part I liked best: I like Larry Price because he is a sympathetic and intriguing character. In addition I like the fact that he is a senior citizen, so I can understand his dilemma. The last sentence in this story is my favorite because it took me a couple of seconds to figure out the mistake Larry made.

Overall impression: Larry Price is a type setter for Jackson and Smith Printing Company. On morning he makes a mistake with a printing job for a farmer. The interaction among the characters moves the plot forward at a good pace while building toward the laughter. The author waits until the last sentence to reveal the laugh. I enjoyed reading this story because the author did not come directly out with the punch line, but rather allows the readers to figure it out for themselves. I am giving this well-planned and written story a 5.0. Write on.
