Title: Return to New London

First Impression: The first paragraph hooked me with the self-propelled steam cab. Amie Wakefield has returned to New London to practice her trade of professional gambler. While in the new casino on the London docks she meets Hawk Ford, a war hero.

What needs your attention: I found no technical problems or anything else that needs attention.

What part I liked best: I like both Amie Wakefield and Hawk Ford because they are intriguing characters. My favorite character is Amie because she is a strong and independent woman who knows an opportunity when she finds it. The last sentence is my favorite because it emphasizes how quickly a person's life can change either for the better or the worst.

Overall impression: The descriptions are part of the action and move the plot forward at a good pace. The interaction among the characters builds the suspense, while revealing the characters personalities. The plot goes forward at a good pace with the characters being the ones who drive the plot. I enjoyed reading this exciting story because of the well-written characters. Write on.
