Title: The Trappings of Two Mountaineers

First Impression: The first paragraph hooked me with the two men carrying beaver furs into the general store. The interaction and conversation between Freddy and Billy move the plot forward at a good pace while building the suspense.

What needs your attention: I found no technical problems. My only issue is with the reason for Frederick and William taking a bath if they were just going back into the mountains without stopping to eat or visit with someone in town.

What part I liked best: I like Frederick and William because they are intriguing and sympathetic characters with an interesting sense of humor as shown by the Busy as a beaver pun. I also like the title of the story because it suggested a theme without giving away the plot and it made me smile.

Overall impression: The two characters and beaver furs are intricate to the plot because without the furs the title of the story does not make any sense. I enjoyed reading this story because the beaver pun and Frederick almost stepping into one of his own traps made me smile. This is an exciting action/adventure story. Write on.
