Hi Winnie Kay Author Icon,

This review is a part of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window. [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

This is an interesting, creative poem, dear Winnie. I like how you highlight the importance of the trumpets, heralding major events in human history.

I love how you begin with the creation of Earth and humankind. I sometimes try to picture that moment in time, when everything was new. How beautiful it must have been - a fresh Earth, with no war to mar it, no pollution, just nature and peace.

Then, the birth of Christ and the death of Christ - both significant events.

And then the end times. Sometimes it feels as though we are close to this, though I guess humans who lived in the past might have felt this as well.

On the technical side of things, I think that you have done an excellent job with this poem. It has an easy rhythm and flow. I like its presentation. And you have done well with its rhyming scheme. Poetry is obviously your thing - you make it look effortless.

Suggestions:

As in my last review, I would suggest allowing the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. I personally feel that this aids the overall clarity and reading experience, but I know that it's a matter of personal preference.

My Rating:

A beautiful, creative poem. I was happy to read it.

It's another 5 out of 5 rating from me - as said, you are good at poetry!

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
