"Game of Thrones"  Open in new Window. by Gaby Author Icon

PLOT -
Clara loves to dance, but her boyfriend, Daniel refuses, especially after being taunted by family for so many years, though Clara tries nonetheless to persuade him throughout their life together.

SETTING -
Each little scene as your couple moved forward in life were sweet, and had enough imagery to paint a clear picture of what was happening in their lives that that moment. I loved Clara flopping down into his lap at the beginning, pouting about her boyfriend not dancing with her on her birthday. That I could picture very well. As well as the scene at the hospital later.

CHARACTERS -
Daniel has tried dancing, but after being compared to a demented grasshopper, he has no urgency to even try it again. Not even at his own wedding. Clara understands his quirks and never holds it against him, even though she loves dancing.

THOUGHTS -
Cute story that follows your couple from teenagers to growing old together. I liked how you broke it up to showcase big moments in their lives. The ending was bittersweet, but he finally gave in and did something special, something meaningful to show his wife how much he loves her. I admit it had me wishing he would've slow danced with her at their wedding. Sometimes saving the best for last can carry a lot more meaning. Great story. Write on!
