Title/Subtitle: "The jealous wife" is written when discovering a husband's affair. It's amazing how a couple can be so in love at the beginning, then they go through a change and either cheat on each other or just plain want their freedom.

Message/Theme: The message this author is writing about is how love can die. Couples become cold toward each other, becoming distant and quiet. That's a tell tale hint right there that many want to squirm out of, too embarrass to admit they're having an affair.

Jealousy of your spouse can happen. This is your theme and it can especially hit a person hard, especially when you feel deceived. You stayed true to your vows, but he didn't or vice versa. It can be quite a wake up call.

Narrative/Style: The narrative is told very well through verse. Your style is Dark, Relationship, and Emotional.

Form/Flow: The form is ten five-line stanza's. This poem flows smoothly as the story unfolds.

         Tone: It direct, suspicious, and tragic. I always hate to see a marriage go awry.

         Mood: The mood is enraged when seeing her husband with a younger, beautiful woman. That is hard to take. Thought can go to a vengeful stage, and you feel betrayed and depressed, but you finally know your marriage is over.

Imagery/Pace: The imagery is that of a wife wondering what happened with her marriage and the man she fell in love with. Picturing her standing on the street, watching her husband kissing another with so much passion. That's a sure-fire wake-up call.

Pace is smooth and the poem tells a story well.

Overall Thoughts & Rating: I liked how you started this poem, it a woman deep in thought going through heart wrenching feelings, with so much passion on different feelings. They say you can go from love to hate in matter of minutes, you showed that well in this poem.

It's amazing how uncaring this husband is. To flaunt his affair so openly is careless of his wife's feelings in my opinion. How could he do this? He should know people are going to talk. So sad that he can be so indifferent about his marriage. Great poem.
