*Moon* I found your poem on the Read A Newbie page! I could so relate to your topic of being sleepy and not sleeping! In this short rather comical poem you have caught the essence of that oversleepy feeling where the mind cannot will sleep! Good job! *Smile*

The free style works well here as it reflects the wandering mind. I can just hear the conversation between mind and ...well ..sleep. I wonder who we are talking to, telling ourselves to go to sleep. *Facepalm*

The fun rhyme in the middle adds lightness and I am glad you didn't count sheep as that never works!
