I was re reading the item I found on Winnie's port, "10 Rules of Writing by Elmore Leonard." I found your "rules" so funny and sensible. So far, I am only guilty of some of the rules. But having written for newspaper for a number of years and newsletters for humane societies gave me some bad habits. Now I feel better about some silly thing thatI think is wrong with me. I loved the quote, "Letting words get in your way..."

I will make it a point to loosen up and not worry about proper grammar and sentence diagraming. I tried to print this article, but my printer crapped out. I will print it soon, though.
