Lost powers

I held my breath and stared really hard into her... or my... eyes as she struggled to activate my power.

"Natalie, are you okay?" I asked, still feeling weird about being her and saying her name aloud. I double checked to make sure noone was looking. Natalie continued to struggle and finally gave up with a heaving breath and sigh.

"I... I can't do it Bobby" Natalie sighed, "maybe it was only a temporary power"

"You mean we're stuck like this?" I said, louder than I meant to, making use of my new shrill voice.

"I don't know" Natalie said, groaning as well, "I don't like this anymore than you do... there has to be some way to reverse it"

"It must be that stone!" I said, "we have to get it back"

"right, well where is it?" Natalie asked me. I'm suddenly struck with a blank moment because I can't remember what had happened to it. I remember trying to use it's powers, but then being overwhelmed, so I let go of it and got super powers momentarily... then I showed Scott... maybe Scott had it?
