Chapter #7

Should I stay or should I go now

    by: Unknown
"Why don't you come inside. I think it's time we had a li'l talk." he said, slowly turning his bulk around. Julie's ears drooped a little with confusion. What was there to talk about?

Wendell's place was a bit of a bachelor's pad. He kept it presentable, but the living room was an old couch with a deep sag, a second hand television, and a stack of dvds "tidied" along the wall and by the TV set. He had a kitchen island separating the living room and kitchen area, which held what was really more of a card table than a dining table. Wendell situated himself on the couch, his great big posterior fitting snugly into the sag of the seat. Actually, his thickness spread slightly beyond the divot, implying that he was a bit heavier than usual these recent days. There was enough room for Julie's skinny butt, even though she did have to sit up against Wendell's bulk (though she wouldn't admit it, Julie definitely didn't mind). Wendell sighed and rested chubby hands on his belly.

"What's the matter, Wendell?" Julie asked, her voice becoming that of a child, full of confusion and begging not to be hurt.

"It's no great matter." the dragon said. "But I think you and I need to talk about our relationship."

"Our....relationship?" Julie echoed.

"That's just the thing, li'l one." Wendell said. "I've met a nice young lady. Very nice. And very interested." Wendell glanced over to see how Julie reacted to this news. Unfortunately, Julie herself didn't know how to react, and conflicting emotions broiled over. Wendell went on.

"I've told her to hold up for now. Because I need to know. You're very affectionate, Julie, but I'm not a man to make assumptions. You've been following me like Ponyta foal at her mother's tail. Did you want a relationship, li'l lady? I'm happy either way. I think you're sweet and all...but I need to know before I pass up this other darlin' . Oh, and so you know...." he reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture. Stunned, Julie nonetheless took it from him. It was a photograph of a dragonair woman. And there was a whole lot of woman in that photo! Great big fatty breasts made teardrop shapes over her stuffed, pregnant-like belly, only just covered in a blue-and-white dress that made the smooth-skinned woman look almost nude. She had plump lips and fat arms, as well as wide flaring hips that framed the lower half of her belly, which rested over her lap. She easily weighed three times what Julie did. There was a full-lipped lipstick mark in the corner, as cliche as can be. Julie's mouth hung open. This was what Wendell was so eager for?!

"Quite a looker, isn't she. Now, don't be jealous li'l lady, you're beautiful in your own way...." Wendell said, cementing all of Julie's fears at once and sending a torrent of confusion over her. She didn't know how to react! But she had to say something.
