The tiny scientist, no bigger than an ant, heard Tommy's enormous friend with horrifying clarity.
"EASIER WAY TO GET RID OF THAT LITTLE PEST," Joe remarked.
He stared up at his enormous neighbor and the teenager's best friend, knowing his life depended on his communicating his true identity to them.
On his knees before the two titans, he begged for their mercy. "Tommy! Joe!" The tiny scientist screamed the names of the two colossal titans. "It's me! I am not an ant!"
Tempted to shrug off Joe's suggestion and find something more interesting to do, Tommy still felt a spark of curiosity. "YEAH?"
Joe smiled and his massive hand descended toward the table. With nowhere to run, the tiny man found himself pinched between two massive fingertips.
He tried to move, to breathe, even to scream... He was literally being crushed between the titan's fingertips. The indignity stung at his elevated intellect. How could he end up squished like a mere bug between some teenager's fingertips?
"WHAT YOU GOT IN MIND?" Tommy asked.
"MIGHT AS WELL HAVE SOME FUN WITH THE PUNY PEST," Joe answered.
