Coerce Bmao to meet your demands [Do you want t...

    by: Unknown
There is the blur of vision that accompanies Gil's drift from realm to realm. When things finally coalesced, Gil and Drak found themselves face to face with Bmao.

Sort of.

This Bmao was gigantic. He was a powerful man back in Gil's realm, but now he was huge. His face covered Gil's entire field of vision.

But as huge as he was, he also seemed...smaller, somehow. If that made sense. As if someone had increased the size of the Bmao Gil had known by a ratio of twelve, but had deflated him to balance things. This Bmao, gigantic as he was, was not the same physically powerfully dragoneer that he had been in Gil's realm.

There were other things as well. Gil and Drak were settled on a white, unblemished surface. Bmao and the giant scenery behind him were distorted.

This is not good, Gil.

Bmao sighed. "I told you not to come here, Giljaras. But it seems that it is the nature of the creation not only to take a life of his own, but to go against the will of his Creator."

Gil, gulped. Drak was right. Wherever they were, it wasn't a good place. But he had to press on. "Bmao, you have to eliminate the Mylandians! Now!"

Gil![/i}

Bmao laughed. "You know, Gil, that's why I always had you accompany me, when I found out how to go into my own created world. Even in the face of crushing reality, you'll never relent from your task."

The condescending laugh pissed Gil off to know end. He launched himself at the gigantic Bmao. And rebounded off an invisible barrier.

"Sorry, you're on the other side of my computer screen. Anyway, I need to figure out what to do with you while I decide how to handle the whole Dragoneer/Mylandian conflict." A thoughtful look came over Bmao's face.

Gil was about to launch into another tirade when Drak interrupted.

Gil! Don't make things worse(/i}

Gil was about to retort how could things get worse, but thought better of it.

Bmao reached for a round, metallic object and placed it into something just outside of Gil's view.

"OK, Gil, I'm going to write in a little deus ex machina if you can pass a little test."

"A..test?" Gil asked hesitantly.

"Yep, a test. I'm going to send you into what I like to call proto-fantasy. A forerunner in today's modern science fiction and fantasy. And somewhere in this proto-fantasy realm there is a single spot where you and Drak's realm drifting ability will work. Find it and return here, and I'll save your Draconia, and make you the hero in the bargain. But be warned. Fail, and the best you can hope for is to be stuck in the proto-realm I'm sending you to. So what do you say?"

Gil and Drak shared a silent look. "We are ready for the challenge."

Before Gil could add anything else, Bmao pushed a button that sent Gil and Drak into the realm of
