Chapter #5

An old friend

    by: Bmao Author IconMail Icon
When the wooden door opens, you see a thin, spectacled, black-haired kid roughly your age. He has a blank look on his face, yet one that saw through you instead of at you. He was dressed quite shoddily, like he had just woken up.

Does the lord have servants or something? Is this the right place.

"So, can I help you with something??" the kid says sourly, as if he'd somehow, yet had not expected you. [WTF are you doing here? Gil!!]

You arch your back and spread your wings, expecting to shock him. Yet his face remained deathly stiff. "I am here to see the great Bmao" you utter in your most powerful tone.

The kid let out a incredulous snort, "Come on Gil, don't give me that shit, you know I hate it when you do that" It was a dry, emotionless tone that you recognized too well.

"Hey!! How is it that you know my---" Your mouth suddenly drops; this was the great Bmao who once pretended to be a dragoner?

You hadn't recognized him because he didn't have wings in his world. "You can't be that same sorcerer that killed 1000 Mylandians with a flick of a pen!! You can't be Bmao!!" you gasp. He let out a crazy chuckle, reaching to his face and cleaning his glasses.

"Damn straight Gil. You weren't expecting me to look like this huh?" he grunted in a very bitter way.

You cross your eyes, there was no way he could be Bmao, he's just trying to trick you. You decide to test him; back in your world, the great Bmao had the ability to read minds. Let's see what this kid is made of

"You know, the dragoners have been having problems, the--"

"Let me guess, you want me delete the Mylandians so your sorry ass Draconia will be saved right?" he says, with a unpleasant tone, his grin equally unpleasant. You nodded slowly. Yup even in this mortalized form, he could still read your mind. [I create your thoughts dummy]

"Yeah that's right" you replied almost hysterically. "Well you're lucky that I'm home alone right now, cause technically, you're not supposed to exist, and I'm hoping that Drak's hidden well, since I don't want the housekeeper accidentally discovering him" he says quickly and garrulously. He allows you inside the house, and you take off your shoes on the tile.

"Yeah whatever, can you just take me to your room to get my problem Mylandian problem sorted out?" you utter secretly. Bmao gives you a strange chuckle. "Fine...I'll see what I can do for ya..."

Smiling, he walks across the tiled floor and begins walking up the stairs into his room. You are left standing there in shock, you'd never thought Bmao would ever seriously consider eliminating the Mylandians. If he's lying like he usually is...

Suddenly you see Bmao stop halfway up and gives you his deep, penetrating look. Even without his wings, it still causes you to quail in apprehension.

You shake your head, better not think about that, or else he'll reconsider

[Heh heh heh heh, you'd better cooperate Gil, or else I might accidentally punch the wrong key...]
