Zelda was frustrated by the escape of her rival, Princess Ruto, and decided to take it out on her trapped people gathered in Zora Fountain. The unarmed and helpless Zora screamed and begged for their lives, but Zelda ignored them as she leaned in close with her enormous face and began to drink the water from the fountain, as if it were a regular drinking fountain.
The hundreds of Zora men, women, and children used their swimming abilities as best they could to try to escape, but they were no match for the powerful suction force of thousands of gallons of water being sucked rapidly into Zelda's thirst lips and down her throat. Zelda found the water very cool and refreshing, and she closed her eyes as she drank and drank the freshest purest water that could be found anywhere in all of Hyrule. As she drank, she felt countless Zora slid down her throat where they landed with a splash in her stomach.
Zelda didn't stop until the entire fountain had been sucked completely dry, and there was nothing but a deep dry crater where the water had been. Zelda let out an enormous belch that echoed throughout the now uninhabited Zora domain. The entire Zora people (except Ruto and the royal family) were trapped in her bulging belly. Most of the Zora were actually still alive, because they could breathe under water and Zelda's belly was full of it.
The huge amount of water inside Zelda's belly swished around loudly with every step she took, and Zelda could feel the thousands of tiny Zora swimming around in there like tiny goldfish in a bowl. They were safe for the time being, and would be as long as there was water in there to protect them from Zelda's stomach acid...
