Kneazle or Professor?

"WAAAAA! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!!" Harry yelled as the kneazle, er, Snape, jumped on him. It hissed and screeched.
"Ah! Um STUPEFY!" Hermione said. Snape froze.
"It must not be the Professor after all," Hermione said. "Otherwise it wouldn't of attacked!"
"No way! That's definately Snape!" Harry said, disgusted, brushing the kneazle off. "He'd get any chance to attack me, mark my words..."
"Maybe Hermione is right," a student said. "We should take it over to Hagrid."
"But where is Snape then??" Draco asked.
"He must've disappeared, or maybe he is invisible!" Ron said.
"You idiot, he would've shouted out at us by now!" a Slytherin said.
"What if he's....gone?" There was silence all around.
"YES!" all the Gryffindors cheered. All except Hermione.
"This is nothing to get all jittered up for! He couldn't have just disappeared! There is a logical explanation for this!" Amongst all the commotion and fighting to whether they should tell Dumbledore or not, no one noticed that Snape, the kneazle, unfroze.
Dangit! Snape thought. How am I gonna get out of this one? He then had a brilliant idea. It was:
