Hailey and Bob jump back in surprise as a spark in the machine sent a flickering throughout all the electronic lights in the room. A sputtering of machine work seemed to stall and The room shook once , sending papers beakers and various science supplies to the ground. But only a few items fell into a precarious towards the beam. Hailey recognize the objects instantly and gasped. The Bratz and Barbie dolls her youngest daughter had stuffed in her purse now lay in the field of the golden blast, after tumbling from her purse. Jenna had made her bring ghem to work every day when she found out that her mother was to figure out how to shrink things. She gave her the dolls so her mom could be able to measure a reduced person better.
Unfortunately for Victoria, the plastic toys flew from a nearby desk and clattered to her feet. Still immobile , Victoria would have looked down and questioned the intrusion but instead managed to only squeak out in surprise through the silly dumbstruck look.
A sudden flash of light blinded everyone involved in the scenario momentarily , causing everyone who could move to shield their eyes. But it was over almost as quickly as I began, as the emergency lights clicked on and all of the electronics began to whine down.
Hailey was the first to regain her sight, while Bob was left on the floor blinking. "Wha-what happened?" he coughed.
Hailey looked towards the platform and became wide eyed.
