"Well, after listening to your arguements I believe it would be best to try to keep this disappearance hidden from the people as long as possible. Also, it might be best to assemble the army. I only know of a few of the dangers that may befall this kingdom and I believe that we need to take that precaution. If there are rumors or if the people begin to worry, then, we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it," Isabelle explained.
All the advisors agreed, proud of how well she was coping and taking charge.
"I just have one question. There was supposed to be a ball in less than a week. I'm not sure if we should cancel or what."
"Well, cancelling might cause some people to wonder and it may cause some fear."
"Yes, but if the King and Queen do not show to the ball, that may also cause some fear, and people will want to now why they are not there."
Isabelle thought for a moment while the advisors watched her expectanly.
"I think," she began, "that we will go along with ball. We will continue with it as if nothing is wrong. If when the time comes we feel it better to cancel the ball then we will. Until then, we will continue on with buisness as usual, and I will carry out my father's duties with you all there to guide me."
No one disagreed. Once, the loose ends were tied up Isabelle dismissed them and returned to her bed chamber.
