Budd dragged Bill by the hand to a nearby tree. Bill kicked and struggled, but was overpowered by his larger brother. Taking the sleeves of Bill's sweater, he wrapped them around the thick trunk of the tree.
"What are you doing?" Bill asked fearfully.
"Tying you to this tree." Budd replied simply, tying the ends of his sweater sleeves together in a tight knot.
Bill, who was constricted quite tightly by this, yelled and kicked.
"Don't worry, you can get out easy. But that would mean leaving your shirt behind." Bill cackled, walking over to Budd's pants and retrieving his wallet. "And thanks for the money," He paused to eye at Bill's bike, which was lying on the street. "And the bike."
"No!" Bill protested, trying to struggle free. He found it was quite difficult unless he left his shirt behind as Budd suggested.
Budd watched his reduced brother's struggling with amusement, and picked up the clothes he had left behind. He threw them over a nearby, tall picket fence so Bill couldn't get them. He hopped up on the bike and rode off, laughing to himself.
