Annette picked up the cover of the film. “Laura, why the heck did you rent this?”
“Well, these kinds of movies are often more fun then good movies, since you can track down on everything sleazy, cheap, far fetched and outright bad in it, not to mention that it doesn’t really matter if people speak while you watch it since you really wont miss anything worthwhile anyway.” Laura replied in defence of having rented the first B-movie she saw with aliens on the cover.
“Sarah, where’s the snacks? If we are gonna watch a lousy movie we have to have snacks!” Melissa said giggling.
Sarah got up to head for the kitchen when Meghan stopped her.
“Where are you going the snacks are right here.” Meghan said with a waving motion and then reached out for Laura who kind of gracefully managed to lung herself up in the air and land in a pile a few feet away.
“I was only kidding!” Meghan managed through a fit of giggling, the frightened look on Laura’s face was priceless.
She managed to collect herself, and avoiding looking at Laura she added. “You don’t have any fruits at home do you Sarah?”
“I’ll have a look. What do you have in mind?”
“Oh never mind, maybe it’ll be better than this movie.” Meghan said with a mischievous smile.
Once Sarah had gone into the kitchen Melissa spoke up, she clearly could care less for the movie that was running.
“Oh come on Meghan, tell us, please!”
“Nope, you’ll have to wait until Sarah comes back.”
So for the next few minutes the girls waited and hardly even commented the movie.
