Adam smiled as the doors prevented him from looking at that fantastic butt any longer. There wasn't much about Sophie he hadn't noticed. She was taller than his normal taste, 5'8" at his guess, excluding the heels any way. That would mean that when he kissed those lush lips of hers he wouldn't get neck ache.
HEY! Hold up there. What do you mean when? Adam scalded himself. Don't get into things with employees.
He was grateful to leave the confines of the lift when it reached the top floor, it signaled time for him to stop thinking about the beautiful woman who had shared it with him and who's sweet perfume still lingered, and concentrate on the day ahead.
Fortunately his P.A. wasn't in yet so he could get his head strait before trying to talk to someone like Jess. She was the most intuitive woman he had ever known. The fact she was family was the only reason she got away with pointing out his failures. Well that and the fact that she managed to run his diary without a hiccup on their end.
When Jess arrived half an hour later, Adam was still thinking about Sophie.
"What's up cuz? You look like a thunder cloud." She asked, seeing strait through his smile.
"Nothing. What's on for today?" He attempted to put a lightness into his tone that he really didn't feel.
"You should know by now that changing the subject doesn't work. Not with those gorgeous Scott eyes telling me everything you don't want me to know. So spill."
Adam sighed and turned his back on his cousin."Find me the profile on the new transfer to floor 5. Her name is Sophie something."
