"Hi James, you've gained weight recently, that t-shirt is skin tight," you greet and realize that your friend's shirt looks pretty skin tight on him. You also see he has two containers of weight gain powder from a sport's store, so you ask," Why do you have weight gain powder?"
"I'm beefing up," James explains," I've seen my metabolism change since last winter and I can easily pile on weight if I want to. So the last two weeks or so I've been stuffing myself and having a bunch of weight gain powder, so I've gained like 15 pounds in the two weeks."
"Yeah, your shirt is showing it," you comment.
"True," James nods and looks at his belly," but you have to have something there before you start building muscles. By the time fall comes around I'm going to be solid and good for the football team."
"Awesome," you say excited.
"Yeah," James says pretty confident, then changes to his usual shy nature and asks," any idea how to use your Dad's weights?"
"A bit," you say, infact, you barely know how to," if not then we could ask Mike."
"Is he here?" asks James.
"Nah, he went out to see some of his friends," you answer," he's up to 300 lbs now."
"Cool," James says," he must be a force on the field. Hopefully, I can get up to his level."
"He's been playing for years," you comment," and he has a lot of muscle mass on him."
"Then we better get started," James comments," Come on."
James heads downstairs to the basement and you wonder if you should give him a hand or let him gain at his own rate?
