Chapter #4

Save it for later?

    by: Jos Author IconMail Icon
You decide to save it for later. 'No point in wasting this stuff. If it actually works, the possibilities are endless!'

You look at your watch. 'The football sign ins are today. I'll need to go to coach's office.'

You leave the mall and start to head to your school. You have the powder tucked deep in your pocket. You come to the side of you high school where the athletics department was. You head down the old tiled floors and pass the cabinets filled with trophy's of various sorts. You soon come to a small office where you see Coach Harry Dudrow sitting in his seat looking over his game plans for the coming season. He was in his mid 40s and stood around 5'9". Although he had a smaller belly pushing outwards of late, his arms were still massive and huge from years of work. He had a bald head with a farmers tan from his many practices this summer outside with his students. Despite his physical prowess, he still loved and cared for his students. And most of all, had a big heart and passion for what he did.

You enter the office and pull out the form to sign for the football team. Coach Dudrow sees you come in and smiles, "Hi (IYNH)! You signing up for the football team like your brother did four years ago?"

"Yep, ready to get myself tough and big like him!" You had over the form to Coach Dudrow who inspects it for completeness.

"Good deal. I know your brother was one of my best players. No pressure though. I think your motives are much simpler than his. Your father and brother are definitely heavy hitters if you know what I mean," Coach winked at you.

"Yeah, I know. It's always bothered me to some extent. Wish there was a better way to grow bigger. I thought this might help."

Coach eyes beamed with excitement, "Take a seat (IYNH)." You took a seat across from Coach's desk with interest.

"I've been pondering about starting another team this year that I thought you might be interested in. It would start from scratch but I've been teaching myself all the details and process involved. I think you might like it."

"What team is it?"

Coach leaned back in his chair, "Well, it's a sumo team. I see many of my football players are big already so I can easily move them over. But what I think will work for you is the training regiment that can help you grow stronger and bigger. I found several books and recipes on making meals that help you both bulk up and grow larger that sumo wrestlers still use to this day. I think it would be great."

You were shocked at the idea. But then, you realized that you might have stumbled into the perfect opportunity.

Coach continued, "And personally, I miss participating in some good tackling. Though I'm older, I would like to be a part of the team. Sumo competitions are open for all ages so I can join in the fun and grow as well. Like yourself, I've wanted to grow bigger. As you can see, I've made some modest progress but I want to grow more," Coach emphasized this by puffing out his small belly and giving it a slap.

You smile with anticipation.
