Sight or Insight of Sam

Eric decided to stay, figuring that he could at least attempt to get the attention of Sam, rathr than risk venturing elsewhere.
He climbed up the pile of laundry, thinking that if he ever grew big again one of the first things he would do would be to tell Tom to clean Sam's clothes for him.
He managed to climb over onto the bed and before he knew it was right in the presence of the gargantuan form of Sam. His curiosity was aroused as to what Sam was reading, because it was certainly drawing all his attention, but he really should be trying to get Sam to notice him. He realises he has two choices: Climb up to his chest and attempt to read the magazine, or climb up to Sam's face and into his line of vision.
