Matt decided to drop his bags in his new room and go to wrestling practice with Percy. If all the guys on the wrestling team look like Percy and Brad, Matt thinks, then maybe I’ll join. Matt found himself liking the prospect of wrestling Percy a lot, even if Percy was twice his size. As Percy effortlessly vaulted up the stairs with Matt’s heavy bag, Matt wondered just how he had become so strong. Most of the fat guys Matt new couldn’t run up stairs, let alone while carrying a heavy suitcase. Percy must be incredibly strong!
“Here you are,” said Percy, stopping to open a door. He was scarcely breathing heavy, despite having bounded up a flight and a half of stairs. “Room B-15, your haven for the rest of your schooling, if you want to stay. B dorm is a lot of fun - lots of wrestlers here, but also some serious students, and we’re not as rowdy as some, but we stick together.” He walked in and dropped Matt’s suitcase on an inviting looking double bed. “All the comforts a big guy could ask for,” Percy went on. “Fridge, microwave, desk, shelves, closet, bed, easy chair. The showers and washroom are just down the hall. Drop your bag and we’ll go - unless you have a wrestling thong? If you do, dig it out.”
“No, I don’t. I’m too big for the team at my old school.”
“Well, you’re certainly not too big for the team here,” said Percy. “C’mon, let’s go then.”
They head back down the stairs, Matt feeling slightly winded, and then Percy practically jogs down the hall towards the gym, pausing at the door so Matt can catch up. “You should come jogging with me and Brad,” said Percy, “you’d be in better shape.” He holds the door for Matt, who steps in and sees,
