The sight of a full kitchen made Matt ravenous. He hurried into the kitchen and opened the freezer. A huge tub of chocolate ice cream greeted him - as did a tub of peppermint. “Wow,” he thought, “they even know my favourite flavours”. He grabbed a big bowl out of the cupboard and spooned himself out a heaping mound of peppermint ice cream.
“Wow,” said John and Jay together. John went on, “You must be really hungry.”
“I had a long trip on the train to get here,” said Matt, “and the meals on the train aren’t very big.”
“Do you want any toppings on that ice cream,” said Jay. “There’s cherries, and chocolate sauce, and nuts.”
“Umm,” said Matt. “I dunno. Are there any Oreos?”
“Oh yeah,” said John, “lots.”
Matt hesitates for a moment between chocolate sauce and Oreos.
