Random Name

Paul hesitates. His hand lingers over the mouse, his heart picking up pace.

What the hell is this site? Why is it using my name?

He moves to click the little “X” again, only to realize—it’s gone. The only options now are the search bar and a single button glowing in light blue beneath it: Randomize.

“Okay, I’ll bite,” Paul mutters. “Let’s see what kind of joke this is.”

He clicks Randomize.

The screen flashes. A loading symbol spins. Then it settles on an ultra-high definition profile of an 18-year-old Japanese girl—undeniably attractive, dressed in a casual school uniform with warm brown eyes and glossy black hair. Below her image is a list of traits

Age: 18
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Select Category for Trait Swap:

- Other

Paul gulps. The "X" to exit is now grayed out and unclickable. The words at the bottom of the screen glow:
