Tomorrow Morning

The next morning, Phillip woke up and got ready for school as usual.

He headed downstairs, but as he was having breakfast he heard his mother again. "It seems like Phillip's been acting a bit weird since the trip to China."

Phillip was watching her as she was drinking coffee and concluded, "I can read her mind."

At first, he was a bit shocked, then tried to test out his theory by concentrating on his younger sister Samantha. As if it was the most obvious thing in the world, he could clearly hear her thinking about how to best annoy him today. It was so clear, in fact, that he nearly laughed out loud. He quickly finished eating and hurried to school.
