Dungeon Kingdom

Where am i? How did i get here? What am i? And a dozen more similar questions shot through my mind, but before i had the time to even start tackling any one of them, something happened.

A little blue box appeared in front of me, looking not too dissimilar to a pop up window from some videogame.

Core System booting
Welcome, Core 50894. Please designate Dungeon name. _________

The hell? So i’m in some sort of dungeon or something? Or am I the dungeon?! Is that why i can’t really feel my arms, legs or anything anymore?!
Okay, slow down, deep breaths, uhh… not that i can or need to breathe anymore…
Let’s take this one step at a time, for now let’s just do what the system asks of me. With no concrete plan of action or even idea as to what I'll be doing with my dungeon(or, "mysel" technically?) i settle on something more generic sounding like… "Dungeon Kingdom".

Change Dungeon name to "Dungeon Kingdom"? Y/N

Yeah that’ll work. And if down the line it doesn’t make much sense i can hopefully change it.

Core System Starting Initial Run Sequence.
Welcome Core 50894. Congratulations on establishing Dungeon Kingdom! Do your best not to get shattered. Think Status to bring up your Dungeon information. If you require assistance think Dungeon Mechanics and an index with relevant information will be provided. Good luck with your new life.

By now I've concluded that I've somehow been transported into some sort of videogame, a dungeon manager specifically, or maybe I'm just in a different world that works like some sort of videogame? Whichever the case, i assume that simply thinking certain words to myself counts as inputting a command of sorts. I give it a try by thinking "Status" to myself, hoping for some more information as to what I've gotten myself into

Dungeon Kingdom Status
Current Dungeon Points:
100
DP Generation:10 DP/Day
Floor Count:1
Room Count:1
Monster Count:0
Monster List Expand
Dungeon Skill List Expand

Okay, not a lot for now. I’m guessing "Dungeon Points" or DP is some sort of resource i’ll be using to do stuff. Also i have no monsters, and i don’t need a red highlight to know it’s a bad thing for a dungeon to lack, i should get to that very soon.

But before that I decide to check out the "Dungeon Mechanics" by thinking the phrase again and… wow that’s a lotta info, it may take a minute or two to go through…

A few moments later I start to feel like I have the basic gist of being a so called "Dungeon Core".
I can customize my own monsters for a start, which is neat. Speaking of, I should get to making some. Should start off with something cheap and thus weak, seeing as 100 DP apparently isn’t a lot…

You have the following choices:

1. Goblin: classic, ubiquitous, low level fodder

*Noteb*
2. Slime: weak, flexible, slippery, possibly acidic

*Noteb*
3. Other?

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
