Alone

You walk into your small apartment, exhausted by the day’s work. Sitting down onto your couch, you are about to turn on the TV when you notice something peculiar. There’s a book on your coffee table that you swear wasn’t there before. You reach for the book and open it, only to find that it is completely blank. It must be some kind of journal or sketchbook, you figure.

You decide to write in the book, starting with the sentence “a bright, bouncy ball.” However, you are shocked to find that a ball has just appeared in your apartment! You erase the sentence you just wrote, and the ball quickly vanishes.
