When Ann and Ryuji got to the studio for the photo shoot Ann started to get a little worried when Ryuji was asked to sit down for makeup and tried to run out the door. But thankfully for the sake of the shoot Ann managed to talk Ryuji off the ledge. "It's just makeup. I do it at every shoot and almost every day, it's no big deal. You're lucky, you get to have someone else do it for you. Just remember how much sushi you'll be able to buy after this." Ryuji was able to find a sushi centric happy place while pondering how many hours he could spend at the arcade with the leftover cash.
Next up were the clothes they would be modeling. Ryuji was glad to see Ann was true to her word and all the clothes seemed to be stuff he'd actually wear if it was in the guys section of the store with the exception of a few shirts that looked like they showed off the belly and a few shorts that looked way too short, but he could cope with it especially with Ann giving encouraging prods.
Then came the actual photography. The cameraman was a middle aged dude who seemed cool enough. When Ann told him it was Ryuji's first time modeling he was super supportive and patient. Ryuji at first was trying to put on big fake smiles assuming that was what they wanted out of a model but the photographer just encouraged Ryuji to relax and act natural. However since he was in a body that was not the one he was used to that was more difficult than it sounded. Feeling the eyes of everyone at the photo shoot looking at him Ryuji tried to overcompensate and got into overly masculine posses including getting into position that made it look like he was about to get in a fight. Some of the people in wardrobe and makeup seemed to be whispering behind their hands but the photographer actually intrigued.
"Yes, the contrast between the two of you works very well. Ann's casual grace is on display while miss...I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."
"Her name is Ryou," Ann said before Ryuji could either blurt out his actual name or some ridiculously over the top fake name.
"Yes Ryou, you have a strength that radiates from you that helps accentuate your beauty. Women will want to be protected by you and men will want to befriend you, even if it is just to see the feminine beauty you seem to hide."
"I aint hiding any beauty!" Ryuji said slapping his fist into his hand but Ann gave him a subtle elbow in the side and whispered, "Just smile and take it as a compliment and complain about stuff after the shoot."
Ryuji rubbed his side and asked, "So, are we done here? Feels like I wore like 20 sets of clothes."
"Yes I believe we're done for the day, and here are your pay for the day." The photographer said giving Ann and Ryuji envelopes with their pay. Ryuji's eyes went wide as he counted the money, "Hell yeah! Definitely going to have enough for some nice sushi tonight! Just gotta wash this junk off of my face then it's time to celebrate!"
