After the almost hour-long battle against the Demon Lord Gaskoraku and having used the last of his MP to transport himself back to his hometown, Jesse barely reached the mouth of the cave where he fought against his first group of actual foes before his exhaustion took him. Jesse fell forward onto the hard cave floor of the entrance not even getting hurt due to being at the max human level one could reach.
When Jesse woke up he was shocked to find that his armor and gear were gone which was only a little more disconcerting than finding himself laying on a bed of what appeared to be straw with his hands bound behind his back. After all, this was not the first time he had been taken prisoner during his quest to save the world. Though it had not happened in a while ever since he reached level fifty in fact and he was now level one hundred. Jesse thought that he would be easily able to break whatever was holding his wrist as with a power that had led many foes to flee before him Jesse tried to pull his hands apart.
Yet nothing happened. No matter how much Jesse struggled he was able to break whatever had bound his wrist together. Seeing a grimy mirror in the corner Jesse uses his agility to get to his feet and move over to it. Angling his body Jesse sees that the item holding his hand together is a familiar-looking bit of fabric which takes him a moment to place. When he does he lets out a groan of frustration seeing that it was a belt-like piece of the legendary armor Starburst. That explained how it was able to resist his efforts to break free for like the rest of the armor actually scaled its power to match Jesse's so as to offer the best protection it could.
"Ah you are up," a voice said making Jesse look to the cave mouth of this side cavern to see who had "captured" him. With his passive ability of Scan Jesse saw the being was a level 2 Goblin Thug with no special skills or normally powerful equipment. That was no longer true for the Goblin Thug now was wearing the rest of the Starburst armor which was somehow still scaled to Jesse's level, as well as Jesse's magic staff, Devil's Bane strapped to his back.
"I must say this is the best loot I have found in ages, human," the thug said.
"Take it off you nasty beast," Jesse growled.
The Goblin used Jesse's staff to smack the bound hero by knocking him back. "First of all I ain't gonna take orders for you human. And secondly, the only piece I would take off is this codpiece for it is freaking tight. You must be rather small to have worn this thing." the Goblin said adjusting the codpiece of the legendary armor. The Goblin Thug then...
