Jaune got up the next morning as he pocketed the dreamstone, he greeted his team and friends as they were getting ready to eat once more.
"Another day another chance to eat pancakes!" Nora said happily.
"You always eat pancakes, every day." Ren reminded.
"That's what makes it so AWESOME!" Nora said, Pyrrha chuckled as she shook her head while Jaune was lost in thought.
I really need to be more careful, I nearly fucked up last night, thankfully it all worked out, but
I still need to be a lot more subtle, being direct won't work on everyone after all, and I am going to use this on a lot more people.
"Jaune?" Pyrrha asked, "is something wrong?" Jaune mentally cursed, speaking of.
"Yeah, just thinking." Jaune said as Pyrrha nodded, he also needs to control his emotions, he'll give it away if he's not careful.
"Um, hi." A voice said, everyone present was stunned when Coco, of all people went up to talk to him.
"Coco, hi." Jaune said, he reigned in his excitement, he had to feign ignorance.
"So, nice day we're having, huh?" Coco asked.
"Yup, it is." Jaune agreed, Coco looked like she wanted to say something, her eyes were scanning him, "is something wrong?"
"No, it's just, you look nice today." Coco admitted.
"Thanks." Jaune replied, okay she's talking to him and complimenting him, this is good for when he moves on to Velvet.
"What do you want?" Pyrrha asked as Coco was startled, Jaune seemed confused.
"Nothing much, just, wanted to let him know he looks nice today." Coco stammered, "and.....if you, you know, want to hang out, I could be cool with that."
"Sure, that sounds good." Jaune smiled as Coco looked, flustered?
"Well, see you Jaune." Coco waved, she looked like she wanted to do something but caught herself, and left.
"What the hell was that all about?!" Pyrrha asked.
"Duh, our fearless leader is becoming a ladies man." Nora said, "better move fast."
"Why would she need to move fast?" Jaune asked.
"NO REASON!" Pyrrha yelled as she put her hand on Nora's mouth, "don't mind her Jaune, you know how random she is, heh, heh, heh." Pyrrha nervously laughed as Jaune was even more confused.
"Okay." Jaune blinked.
"So, are you really going to spend time with her?" Ren asked carefully.
"I mean, why not?" Jaune asked.
"We have training!" Pyrrha came up with, "remember?"
"We do, but all the time?" Jaune asked as Pyrrha looked around.
"Er, no, I guess not." Pyrrha sighed, Jaune blinked, Pyrrha has been acting weird ever since Coco was starting to take a fancy to him, all thanks to him of course but still. Nora seemed to nudge Pyrrha a bit as she bit her lip.
"Maybe we can hang out sometime then?" Pyrrha asked.
"We do, during training." Jaune said.
"Outside of, training, you know, somewhere nice, and private, where nobody will recognize me?!" Pyrrha flustered, Jaune blinked at that, was she, nah, she can't be, right?
"Sure." Jaune carefully said as Pyrrha seemed excited.
"Great." Pyrrha said as she seemed a lot happier, Jaune seemed confused, was it him or is she acting like Coco is now?
