He decided he would test out his powers on someone else. He already used it on Brenda and didn't want to make her too big so he chose to go somewhere else instead. He decided that he wouldn't use it on anyone else in his family as well. He wanted to test the absolute limit of his power but wasn't sure who to do it on.
He could choose a random stranger, but that seemed a little bit weird, he wouldn't know if they wanted it, and forcing a stranger to do something that would drastically change their life against their will didn't sit quite right with him.
He could change his crush, that could be fun. He would learn the extent of his power and having more of her couldn't possibly be bad right? But he didn't know if she would be happy about it, she didn't like him now either, why would she when she was colossal?
