Lily, a 9-year-old girl with long platinum blond hair, was engrossed in her favorite video as she snuggled into her fluffy pink pillow. Her mind was on her 10th birthday next month. Her slender, bare feet kicked idly against the sheets of her canopy bed, the breeze from the open window playing with the lace curtains and sending a shiver down her spine. Her delicate features, still untouched by the harshness of puberty, glowed with innocence and beauty. Unbeknownst to her, her older brother, Ned, had been watching her from the doorway for quite some time, a strange glint in his eye.
He walked over to her bed, his footsteps muffled by the plush carpet, and gently placed the tiny, shiny device on her bedside table. "Lily," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "I've been wanting to show you this for a while now." Her head snapped up, blue eyes wide with curiosity and perhaps a hint of fear. "It's a shrink ray," he explained, his grin growing wider. "What do you think we should use it for?"
She studied his face, searching for any signs of deception. "I don't know, Ned," she replied, still skeptical. "Why would you have a shrink ray?" He shrugged casually. "I ordered it online, actually. You know how I've always been interested in science and stuff." She pursed her lips, unconvinced. "Fine," he muttered under his breath, "if you don't believe me..." With that, he pressed a button on the shrink ray and pointed it at his sister. There was a flash of light and a strange humming noise, and when it subsided, Lily lay before him, no bigger than a Barbie doll. Her features were still recognizable, but they were now miniature, and she was still clothed.
He picked her up carefully, marveling at how light she was, and sat down on the edge of her bed. "See, Lily?" he said, grinning. "I told you it was real. So, what do you think we should do with you?" She gaped at him, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. Just then, two of Lily's friends, twins Eric and Mandy showed up at the window. They are both 10 almost 11, they are slender and healthy looking. Mandy is pretty, with long blonde hair, slightly more advanced breasts, a lovely ass too. Mandy is wearing a white dress. Eric is well developed for a boy his age, he is wearing a t-shirt and jeans. As they look in the window, Ned hides Lily and the shrink ray behind his back.
"Hey Lily!" they called out, waving. Ned waved back, then gestured for them to come inside. They exchanged a worried glance before Mandy's curiosity got the better of her. She pushed open the window and climbed inside, followed closely by Eric. "What's going on?" she asked, glancing around the room. "Is everything okay?" Ned shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah, I was just messing around with some of Lily's stuff," he said, motioning to the shrink ray. "Want to see?"
Mandy and Eric exchanged another worried glance before Mandy cautiously stepped forward. "Um, sure," she said, her voice trembling slightly. Ned pressed the shrink ray against Mandy's chest, aiming it at her center. There was a flash of light and a high-pitched squeal, and when it subsided, Mandy was no bigger than Lily. Her features were still recognizable, but they were now miniature, and she was still clothed. Eric's eyes widened in shock as he stared at his sister. "N-Ned... what did you do?" he stammered.
"I just shrunk her," Now I am going to shrink you.
Ned pressed the shrink ray against Eric's chest, aiming it at his center. There was a flash of light and a high-pitched squeal, and when it subsided, Eric was no bigger than Mandy. His features were still recognizable, but they were now miniature, and he was still clothed. "Oh my god," Lily breathed, her eyes wide with disbelief. "What have you done to them?"
Mandy and Eric exchanged terrified glances. They were now trapped in Lily's bedroom, miniature versions of themselves, at the mercy of their older brother. Lily slowly reached out a trembling hand and picked up Mandy, holding her tiny sister in the palm of her hand. "What... what are we going to do now?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"We could run away," Eric suggested, his voice quavering. "There's got to be somewhere we can hide." They all looked around the room, frantically searching for a way out. But the more they looked, the more they realized that everything was much larger to them now. The bed, the dresser, even the curtains seemed like insurmountable obstacles.
As they desperately tried to come up with a plan, Ned casually walked over to the toy chest at the foot of Lily's bed. He opened the lid and smiled. "I think this will be just the right size for you three," he said, revealing a miniature Polly Pocket playhouse inside. "You can stay in there until I decide what to do with you." He lifted Mandy, Lily and Eric, placing the three inch tall kids inside.
Shivering in terror, they huddled together in the dark interior of the playhouse. The plastic walls were cold against their skin, and the only light came from a tiny lamp on the bedside table. They could hear Ned moving around outside, his voice echoing strangely in their miniature ears. "This should keep them safe for now," he muttered to himself. "I don't want them getting hurt or getting into anything they shouldn't."
As Ned looks them over, he wonders what they would look like all natural? "If they were unclothed, nude, they would be less likely to try and escape?" Ned thinks to himself.
