Peter felt weird as his conscious floated in an endless void. He had vague memories of fighting six of his most powerful arch nemeses. They had stolen some kind of tech form S.H.I.E.L.D. and where threatening to destroy all of New York if he didn't face them alone. It was suicidal to say the least but he barely able to defeat them and stop what every kind of super weapon they had constructed. Peter remembered being badly injured as well. As he died he thought to himself. It wouldn't have surprised him, he never had any good luck in his entire life.
Suddenly Peter felt himself landing on something cold and hard.
"Even in the after life." Said Peter, as he slowly opened his eyes. He was in a building, for starters. It was made out of white marble. There was a fountain in front of him. He slowly made his way to it and drank some of the water. Instantly he felt at perfect health.
"I wonder if I could market this." Said Peter, smiling.
"For being heaven, I thought there would be more clouds, angles, ethereal singing and people he knew." Said Peter, getting to see uncle Ben once again was something he could enjoy.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you Peter but this isn't heaven." Said a feminine voice. Peter turned around and blushed. Standing in front of him was a voluptuous blonde woman with blue eyes. She was dressed in a golden gown.
"Greetings Mr. Parker. I'm Minerva, the goddess of heroes and you're at Hero's Paradise. A pocket dimension of mine's. I bring heroes here after they conquered their greatest foes." Said Minerva, smiling.
Saving a city and beating six of his strongest foes did seem it would qualified at that.
"Here." Said Minerva, as she snapped her fingers. A tablet appeared in Peter's hands. Minerva explain that the tablet is his Hero I.D. here. It would allow him to travel the island, get to his personal mansion and bring any female he wants here.
"I do hope you will enjoy yourself here. You're life was much more challenging then most." Said Minerva, before teleporting away.
Peter stood in silent for a few moments. Then he jumped up screaming in joy.
"Finally a break." Said Peter, after some many gut pinches he finally got a reward for all his hard work. He started thinking what he should do first.
