You were dragged into the light, and broke the surface of the pool of water you found yourself in. You coughed up the foul tasting water from the pipes that you had almost inhaled, as well as the the foam that had been pumped through them, as you gasped for air.
Cracking your eyes open, your heart dropped as you instantly recognised your location.
A toilet bowl!
The high, unscalable walls of pure white porcelain on all sides, as well as the mile wide pool of water you found yourself suspended in was unmistakeable.
This was unfortunately not the first time you had found yourself trapped in a toilet before, the most recent time in your own home, but it didn’t make the bite of the frigid water, or the way your heart jumped every time one of the stall doors nearby creaked open, afraid that this would be the time that a woman decided to use the toilet you were trapped in, any better.
You were grateful that Grace hadn’t been trapped in here as well, this wasn’t a situation that you relished in, but you were glad you were the only affected it was happening to. Plus it meant that when an opportunity to escape arose, you would only have to worry about your own escape, and not risk yourself to help a fellow affected.
At first, you tried to yell for help any time you heard signs of activity elsewhere in the room, but each time you were either ignored or not heard, you weren’t sure which.
Knowing from first hand experience that escape from a toilet bowl was almost impossible for an affected without outside help, you decided to try to conserve energy and just focus on treading water.
For all of the safety features added and improvements made to infrastructure to make things a little easier for affected in recent years, you found it awfully strange that no one had thought to make something that affected could use to escape a situation like the one you were in right now, not even you had!
You made a mental note to run it past some of your friends at Small Wonders once you got out of here, absolutely certain that you’d be able to get the attention of the first woman to enter your stall and that she would help you… right?
The alternative didn’t really bear thinking about, you decided. Optimism and positivity would hopefully see you through, you reassured yourself without fully believing it.
You had no way of knowing if the woman who would use the toilet you were in was going to be a member of the Oasis staff or a customer, because you had no idea where in the park you had ended up! Your forced journey through the pipes had been so chaotic that you didn’t even know how long it had taken! You could be at the opposite end of the park from where you started for all you knew!
You didn’t have long to ponder where you were, as the creak of a stall door, louder this time, signalled that someone had entered your stall, and you were soon faced with the sight of…
1)… Selena! You’re in the staff bathroom! You notice she looks slightly frantic and distracted, maybe she knows that you and Grace are missing, but she doesn’t seem to be looking at the toilet as she shimmies her clothes down her hips. Can you grab her attention before it’s too late?
2)… Sydney? Seems like you must be in the customer bathroom! You ready yourself to scream, hoping you can grab your friend’s attention before she sits on the toilet, since her titanic backside would undoubtedly seal in any sound that you could make once she sits down…
3)… A woman who you don’t recognise. She appears to be wearing street clothes, so you have no way of telling whether she is a customer or a member of staff.
