This choice: Cass is Coached on Monster Etiquette by Steph (RES FOR ALISTAIR) • Go Back...Chapter #6Cass Reluctantly Rampages by: Unknown You’d always felt small around Cass (or any unaffected woman for that matter), but seeing her looming over a city that had been scaled down to fit your stature somehow made her seem so, so much larger than any woman you had ever seen before that you felt your legs begin to tremble despite her smiling, giggly demeanour.
In that moment you momentarily forgot that it was her that was normal sized and not you, and you mistook her for exactly what you guessed she was here to portray, a woman who was easily over four hundred feet tall, and who utterly dwarfed the buildings that surrounded her.
You and your fellow tinies felt the ground faintly vibrate as she shifted on her feet uneasily, clearly unsure of where to start despite her beginning to grow more comfortable with the prospect of destroying this toy sized city.
“S-so where do I start?” Cass said out loud to seemingly no one. You assumed she had an ear piece that was allowing her to communicate with Steph, but you couldn’t see one. Having seemingly received her reply, she nodded affirmatively, before taking her first step into the town.
You had emerged from a building roughly in the very centre of this thirty-by-thirty foot square room, so your aunt was multiple city blocks away from you. But the resounding boom of her first step into the city sent a tremor shuddering through the ground, causing several of the small replica cars near her to start blaring their car alarms.
They really went all out with the replicas, they really seem to be trying to sell this as an actual city, you mused. You would have been impressed, if you weren’t terrified by the thought of what was coming next.
“So I just…” Cass questioned aloud as she raised her huge bare left foot over one of the smaller buildings. “…do it like this?”
As her foot came down, you watched as it impacted on the roof of the comparatively minuscule, 3 floor building, which in of itself was only around 8 inches in height. Cass’ foot pushed down, the edges of her sole whitening as they were pressed against the roof with a minimal amount of pressure from your aunt. She was likely taking it slow, unsure of exactly how much pressure to place on the structure to destroy it, but nevertheless you saw cracks beginning to form, starting near the top where your aunt’s foot was resting before spreading downwards and growing larger and larger by the second.
Just before the structure finally gave out under the tremendous weight of Cass, you noticed that there was an affected banging on the window of the second floor. You only got a glimpse of their silhouette before the building finally caved under your aunt’s much larger foot, collapsing underneath her as her foot crashed onto the ground with a titanic boom that shook the ground so much that you were almost knocked over, and kicked up so much dust that the entire street around the building was completely obscured, hiding Cass’ foot, but from the way her massive thigh was jiggling you could tell that she was grinding the ball of her foot into the rubble she had just created.
Cass smiled to herself. That had felt… really good!
This was exactly what she had needed to work off the stress that had filled her life for the last few weeks. Glancing around for her next target, she couldn’t help but smile warmly as she saw all of the tinies running away from her, and despite them not making any sounds, she could tell that they were pretending to scream.
My gosh, what an amazingly dedicated group of little actors Steph has found! Cass mused, appreciative of the realism that the little people pretending to be terrified of her would bring to this session. Although she did feel a little bad for the prospect of some of them getting stepped on by her, but quickly shrugged her shoulders. Steph had said they were all on board with this, it would be rude of her to not give it her all like they were.
“Amazing, Cass!” Steph gushed through the comms channel. “Keep this up, and we’ll be guaranteed to secure funding for the movie!”
“Wait, what? Funding? Movie?” Cass paused, confused about what Steph was saying. “What’s this about a movie? Isn’t this going to be for an ad or something like that?”
“Oh no Cass, didn’t your agent tell you?” Steph was genuinely confused, she had been under the impression that Cass would have known why she had been flown out specifically for this. “This shoot is to create a clip… a preview of you will. The plan is to use it as a proof of concept to pitch to the executives to secure funding for a full, feature length movie starring you! Exciting, right!”
“A-a movie? Starring… me? Steph, I’m a model, I’m not an actress,” Cass argued, flustered and doubtful at the prospect. “Wouldn’t you rather find someone who, you know, has acted before?”
“Nonsense Cass, models make the switch to acting all the time!” Steph tried to reassured your aunt. “You’ll be great! And the higher ups asked for you specifically for this to even have a chance of getting the green light!”
“Hmmm, I’m not so sure…” Cass frowned, before sighing. “Alright, I’ll do the shoot today, but I want to talk to my agent before I agree to do any more than that.”
“Very understandable, it’ll take time for us to secure funding, set up, pre production, et cetera. So you’ll have plenty of time to come to a decision…” Steph paused briefly, before continuing. “…but I think after this session you’ll be quite happy to come back and do more of this, as I could see you quite enjoyed that first building crush. So just relax and do your thing, stomp a few buildings, blow off some steam!”
Though slightly deterred by the revelation that this wasn’t just a regular modelling gig, Cass was a professional, and stomped over to the next tiny building to continue her “rampage”.

You had watched for the last several minutes as Cass’ stomping feet had flattened around ten buildings around the area that she had started in, each of them crumpling under her gargantuan feet like they were nothing.
She was still quite far from your position in the middle of the model city, but you knew that it wouldn’t be long until she made her way over in your direction, and you shuddered at the thought of being crushed underneath her soles like dozens of other affected had in the last few minutes.
You did notice that after her most recent conversation with Steph, which you had only heard her side of, she seemed much less enthusiastic about all of this than she had been after her destroying the first building, almost like she was deep in her own thoughts and wasn’t fully focusing on the destruction. Having heard enough of the conversation to piece it mostly together, you guessed she was having conflicted thoughts about a potential break through into acting.
You also knew she couldn’t hear you or any of your fellow affected, or she was ignoring their screams for some reason, which you thought was unlikely, given the kind and caring personality Cass had displayed every time you had interacted with her before. Based off of the fact that she had earpieces in to communicate with Steph, figured that they must somehow be able to block out the voices of the affected.
You almost resigned yourself to the fact that you would soon get flattened under your aunt, before remembering the fact that she had noticed you when she arrived in the room, and waved at you. Maybe if you could get her attention, she would take one of the ear buds out and you could talk some sense into her?
It wasn’t a great plan, but it was the only one you could come up with. Looking around at the buildings that surrounded you, you decided that you needed to get higher.

“Cass, this is the eleventh building that you’ve just dispassionately stepped on,” Steph groaned. “You’ve gotta mix it up a little!”
“Sorry Steph!” Cass exclaimed, shocked out of her deep thoughts by the producer’s voice in her ear. “I’m just not really sure what else I could be doing to spice it up.”
“Is that all? I was beginning to think you were having second thoughts, this is a much easier problem to solve! I’d be happy to coach you through some other methods that previous giant monsters have used in these videos!”
Steph glanced at one of the many screens that she was observing Cass’ performance on, and her eyes were drawn to one thing in particular, and it gave her an excellent idea…
1) Steph’s eyes were drawn to you, stood on top of one of the tallest buildings in the very centre of the city, trying to get Cass’ attention. Just as she was about to suggest her idea, she heard Cass’ stomach grumble and a grin crossed her face. That’s a much better idea…
2) Steph’s eyes followed a group of tinies who had just ran into a squat, much wider building. Eyes being drawn to one of her other screens, with the camera focusing on the model’s gargantuan backside, Steph knew a perfect way for Cass to destroy that particular building…
3) Steph decides that Cass should try spicing up her destruction by taunting the tinies with some verbal barbs, but in an attempt to be mean, Cass revealed that her dialogue skills leave a lot to be desired… (or Writer’s Choice) indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
